DeWitt Partner Patrick C. Summers Earns MSBA Board Certified Real Property Law Specialist Designation
GREEN BAY | MADISON | MILWAUKEE | MINNEAPOLIS – Today DeWitt LLP announced attorney Patrick C. Summers has been certified as a Minnesota State Bar Association (MSBA) Board Certified Real Property Law Specialist. This achievement has been earned by fewer than 3% of all licensed Minnesota attorneys.
The certified specialist designation is earned by leading attorneys who have completed a rigorous approval process, including an examination in the specialty area, peer review, and documented experience. Certified attorneys have demonstrated superior knowledge, skill and integrity in their specific field and can use the designation of specialist to advertise their credentials. The MSBA has been accredited as an independent professional organization for certifying attorneys as Criminal Law Specialists, Real Property Law Specialists, Civil Trial Law Specialists and Labor and Employment Law Specialists. This achievement has been earned by fewer than 3% of all licensed Minnesota attorneys.
Patrick works with clients in the areas of real property, bankruptcy, creditors’ rights, landlord-tenant law, construction litigation, and general business litigation. His practice includes extensive experience with bankruptcy from a creditor’s perspective, including Chapter 11.
He earned a J.D., cum laude, from the University of Minnesota Law School and a B.A., magna cum laude, from the University of Minnesota.
