Philip regularly supports matters involving real property disputes, contested ownership
and use issues, and related civil claims. His background includes extensive legal
research, drafting court orders and memoranda, and assisting with case development
through all phases of litigation. Clients and colleagues value his disciplined,
detail-oriented approach and his ability to analyze complex issues efficiently and clearly.
Before joining DeWitt, Philip practiced as a real estate litigation associate and served in
multiple judicial clerkships, gaining firsthand exposure to trials, evidentiary hearings,
settlement conferences, and motion practice. His experience working closely with
judges enhances his ability to anticipate procedural issues and present arguments that
resonate with the court.
