Private Equity Firm Using Employee Ownership in its Acquisitions

Private equity Firm KKR has been using employee ownership as a tool for growth. As explained in this video, the productivity and retention benefits of employee ownership is resulting in increased bottom lines for their investments.

It is not clear from the video whether KKR is using an ESOP to confer employee ownership, or some other vehicle. But it is a trend that certainly seems to be working for both the Firm itself and the employees of its portfolio companies.
